Office of MOFTEC has sent special notice to the Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Departments of the country’s provinces, cities and autonomous regions, calling for an active participation.
China People’s Bank sent special notice to the banks and financial institutions in the country, calling for an active participation in the Fair.
The Fair is actively responded among the provinces and cities in China, cities of Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Taizhou, as well as Hunan provinces etc. are all undergoing preparation and organization for participation the coming Fair on the city/provincial level..

China United Telecom orders 1500 square meters for the exhibition space in the forth-coming Fair.
Shenzhen Municipal Government will organize the local enterprises in the sector of electronic and computer industry to exhibit in the forth-coming event. Shenzhen Computer Industry Association and Shenzhen Electronic Industry Association will be responsible for the organization of delegation and exhibition
From Nov. 19 to 23, a governmental delegation headed by Ms. Li Shuqin, vice director of Organizing Committee of APEC E-Commerce Fair and vice mayor of Yantai visited Hongkong for the promotion of the forth-coming Fair.
Up to now, over a dozen famous IT companies from China and abroad have made their plan to participate in this event, such as China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, UNIS, Founder, Digital China, NTT Japan etc.
On November 19, 2002, Briefing of APEC E-Commerce Fair was held in Shenzhen. Mr. Liu Ying Li, Vice Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal Government, asked the IT companies in Shenzhen actively participate in this event.
